Overview

Parchi is a personal finance tracking app for reviewing transaction alerts, labels, budgets, accounts, and spending summaries. This policy explains what information Parchi processes and how it is used to provide the app.

Information We Collect

Account information may include your authentication identifier, email address, and basic profile details provided by the sign-in provider.

Financial tracking information may include transactions, account labels, merchant names, amounts, dates, categories, budgets, notes, imported alert content, and related metadata that you add, import, forward, or connect to Parchi.

If you connect Gmail, Parchi uses read-only Gmail access to find supported transaction alerts for ingestion. If you connect Splitwise, Parchi processes the Splitwise data needed to sync shared-expense records you choose to connect.

If you configure an AI provider in the app, the provider address, model selection, and API credential are stored on your device. Assistant requests and redacted outputs returned by read-only financial tools in response to your requests are sent directly from your device to that provider rather than through Parchi's servers. The provider does not receive direct access to Parchi's local database.

Technical information may include device and app metadata, request logs, error information, and security metadata needed to operate, protect, and debug the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users, ingest and organize transaction records, show dashboards and analytics, sync optional connected services, prevent misuse, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the app.

Parchi may use automated parsing to extract transaction details from alerts or receipts. Stored transaction history is used only for the app features you access.

Service Providers

Parchi uses service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email and connected-account workflows, and optional transaction extraction. These providers process information only as needed to operate their services for Parchi.

Current infrastructure includes Clerk for authentication, Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Google APIs for optional Gmail connection, Splitwise APIs for optional Splitwise connection, and AI extraction providers for transaction parsing when enabled.

The assistant uses the provider you configure. Parchi does not proxy assistant requests or receive your provider API credential; the configured provider processes requests under its own terms and privacy policy.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your personal finance records for advertising. Information is shared only with service providers needed to run the app, when you connect an external service, when required by law, or when necessary to protect the app and its users.

Security and Retention

Parchi uses access controls and encryption where appropriate to protect user data. OAuth tokens and other credentials are stored as secrets or encrypted values. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide the app, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Some temporary logs and diagnostic records may be kept for shorter periods.

Your Choices

You can disconnect optional Gmail or Splitwise integrations in the app where available. You can request account or data deletion by contacting us. Deleting connected-service access may not delete records that were already imported into your Parchi account unless you also request deletion of those records.

Children

Parchi is not intended for children under 13 and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
